There may not be color in the sky... but there is plenty in the new Arc'teryx!!
Friday, July 30, 2010 at 12:13PM Whew! What a doozy this (hesitate to call it this, but...) summer has been!
In between the rain storms, we've secretly been excited about all the new fall lines, especially the Fall Arc'teryx! Don't blame us too fast, because:
a) we all know that fall in the land of retail begins in summer anyways, b) we all know how important color is on dreary days such as today, and c) no matter how much we don't like to admit it, the old Norweigan adage "there's no bad weather, only bad gear" is true.
So we are thrilled to share with you what made our day as we unpacked it: the new Fall Arc'teryx Line!!
This bright colored fleece is as good as a strong lightbox in the dead of winter, plus it keeps you cozy, and dries super fast. If you happen to get it fishy, no worries - it washes really well!
Men's Apache AR in HabeneroDesigned for both the backcountry and the base lodge, this half-zip warms with elevated style. Polartec Thermal Pro Tweed manages moisture, dries quickly and compresses effieciently when packed. Laminated elbow patches resist water (and snagging hooks).
Women's Covert Hoody in CeladonMade with wool-textured Polartec Thermal Pro sweater knit, the covert hoody design presents a stylish hooded sweater look with traditional Polartec performance. The cut is Casual, the fabric stays cozy, and the hood provides solace from the weather outside (man, I think we all need this one!).
Women's Covert Hoody in SapphireThe Classic Covert cardigan is a classic sweater design in a full zipped jacket with two hand warmer pockets. An award winning piece, this cardigan provides cozy warmth and outstanding style!
Covert Cardigan in EmberAlso just in is the new EON-SLW Merino wool line. Arc'teryx has completely revamped their baselayer line this year, engineering for superior performance during 'stop and go' interval activities. The superfine merino wool is soft next to skin and naturally adjusts its thermal properties as it reacts with changing humidity levels.
EON fabrics feature highly resilient stretch to keep the garment close to the body to maximize moisture management & thermal efficiency, speed dry-time, and reduce layering bulk. Merino wool is naturally odour resistant, making it an ideal material for extended backcountry (or boat) use. Also great at resisting that fishy odour.
EON SuperLightWeight Hoody in Lapis Lazuli
EON SuperLightWeight Hoody in Camellia
